Catalyst 9500 models The following SDM ASIC templates are supported on the Cisco Catalyst 9500 Series. • Distribution: Maximizes system resources for MAC and security. • Core: Maximizes system resources for unicast and multicast routing. • SD-Access: Maximizes system resources to support fabric deployment. • NAT: Maximizes system resources for Layer 3 and NAT for support of collapsed-core WAN deployments.
