Before attempting this command, the administrator should have a valid DRF backup. Additionally, before attempting a Hostname (or Hostname and IP address) change, the administrator should perform the following: • verify the cluster configuration does not have any configuration problems by executing show hcs cluster verify detailed • update the cluster configuration by executing set hcs cluster config • validate the cluster configuration by executing show hcs cluster verify detailed set network hostname hostname Syntax Description Description Parameters Represents the new network hostname of the system. Note The host name must follow the rules for ARPANET host names. It must start with an alphabetic character, end with an alphanumeric character, and consist of alphanumeric characters and hyphens.
