Upgrade Install Image from Local Source Use this optional procedure for Unified Communications Manager installations if you have a newer version than your installation image and you want to upgrade your installation file to a newer version. Note Before you begin Make sure to do the following: To complete this procedure, you must have completed the Attended Installation, on page 48 procedure and have chosen to apply a patch via a LOCAL source. Note • Start a basic installation. Choose the option to apply a patch via a LOCAL source. For details, see Attended Installation, on page 48. • Download the appropriate patch file from Cisco.com. You must create an ISO image from the upgrade file and then either place it on a DVD or in the DVD drive of a virtual machine.
