Cisco Voicemail for Gmail provides a visual interface for an enriched experience with voicemails at Gmail. With this extension, user can perform the following : • Compose a voicemail from within Gmail. • Play the received voicemail without the need of any external player. • Compose a voicemail in reply-to a received message. • Compose a voicemail while forwarding a received message. Follow below steps for using chrome extension: 1. Administrator should configure Unified Messaging with Google Workspace using steps mentioned in Task List for Configuring Unified Messaging with Google Workspace section of the "Configuring Unified Messaging" chapter of the Unified Messaging Guide for Cisco Unity Connection Release 15 available at https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/15/unified_messaging/guide/b_ 15cucumgx.html. 2. Administrator should add SMTP proxy addresses for Unified Messaging users in Unity Connection by following below steps: • Login Cisco Unity Connection Administration. • On the Edit Users Basics page, enter user's Gmail ID in Corporate Email Address field. • Enable Generate SMTP Proxy Address From Corporate Email Address checkbox corresponding to user. 3. Users can now configure and use the chrome extension.
