Digit Manipulation via POTS Dial-Peers POTS dial-peers have a few unique digit manipulations techniques unique to them that VOIP dial-peers do not have. The first is the stripping of explicitly defined left-justified digits in a destination-pattern. This can be disabled by using the command no digit-strip on the POTS dial-peer. Example: In this example, 9011T is defined as the string for the destination-pattern. With this in place, you can receive a call for 90113227045555. This matches the dial-peer for outbound call routing, and the explicitly defined digits of 9011 are stripped off before the call is routed out the voice-port.
