More information on matched dial peers both inbound and outbound, VoIP, and POTS can be found in Voice - Understanding How Inbound and Outbound Dial Peers are Matched on Cisco IOS Platforms. Another method you can use to check dial peer matches is to issue the debug voip ccapi inout command. The debug output from this command shows an ssaSetupPeer message that lists all the dial-peers that match the called number. A ccCallSetupRequest message follows with the outbound peer option that indicates the outbound VoIP dial-peer selected. When multiple VoIP dial peers are configured for the same destination, it is possible that the initial call setup fails and another dial peer tried. In this case another ccCallSetupRequest appears in the debug. debug voip ccapi inout - Originating Gateway
