If voice calls complete successfully between two routers, fax calls are supposed work, but when fax relay does not work or performance needs to be improved, there are some fax relay specific commands that you can issue as a precursor to troubleshoot the problem: fax rate • fax-relay ECM disable • fax NSF • fax protocol • fax rate Command The fax rate command is configured under the VoFR or VoIP dial-peer in configuration mode.
